Sawyer Trailers LLC (“Sawyer Trailers,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) builds enclosed trailers in Lorena, Texas and sells them through authorized dealers. This policy explains what information we collect through sawyertrailers.com (the “Website”) and the Sawyer Trailers dealer portal (the “Portal”), how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you contact us, we collect what you enter, such as your name, phone number, email address, the trailer size and color you’re interested in, the best time to call, and what you plan to use the trailer for.
When a business applies to become a dealer, we collect the business and contact details on the application, including legal and DBA names, entity type, addresses, phone, email, website, dealer license and sales tax permit numbers, requested sales area, and anything else the applicant tells us.
Dealer portal accounts
For people with a Portal login, we keep your name, email address, your role at your dealership, and a securely hashed version of your password (we never store the password itself). We also keep the business records you create or receive in the Portal, such as orders, trailer and VIN records, inventory status, invitations, and any logo your dealership uploads.
If you choose “Sign in with Google,” Google shares your name, email address, and a Google account identifier with us so we can match you to your Portal login. We don’t receive your Google password or access to anything else in your Google account.
Warranty registrations
When you buy a Sawyer trailer, the dealer registers the sale with us so your frame warranty can start. That registration includes your name, any business name, contact details, city and state (and street address if given), the date of sale, how you’ll use the trailer, and the trailer’s VIN. We use it to provide warranty service, contact owners about safety or warranty matters, and keep records of each VIN.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical information when you visit, such as IP address, browser type, the pages requested, and the time of the request. We use it to keep the Website secure and working, including limiting repeated sign-in attempts and form submissions.
3. Cookies
We only use cookies the Website and Portal need to work: a cookie that keeps you signed in to the Portal, a short-lived cookie used during “Sign in with Google,” and a short-lived cookie that shows confirmation messages after you submit a form. We don’t currently use advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, we’ll update this policy first.
4. How we use information
- To respond to your questions and requests, and to connect you with an authorized Sawyer dealer
- To review dealer applications and manage our relationships with dealers
- To run the Portal, including sign-in, orders, shipping updates, trailer and inventory records, and team invitations
- To register warranties, provide warranty service, and contact trailer owners about safety or warranty matters
- To send emails related to your request or account, such as order confirmations, ship notices, invitations, and password resets
- To protect the Website and Portal against fraud, abuse, and security problems
- To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations
5. How we share information
We don’t sell personal information. We share it only as follows:
- With authorized Sawyer dealers, when you ask about a trailer and a dealer near you can help
- With people at your own dealership who have Portal access, for shared records like orders and inventory
- With service providers that run parts of the Website and Portal for us, including Cloudflare (hosting, security, and data storage), Resend (email delivery), and Google (only if you use Sign in with Google)
- When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Sawyer Trailers, our dealers, or others
- With a buyer or successor if our business is sold or reorganized
6. Emails and text messages
We email you about your request, application, account, or orders. We don’t send marketing text messages through the Website. Sawyer staff or your dealership may text you an invitation link to set up a Portal login; you can ignore it if it wasn’t meant for you.
7. How long we keep information
We keep contact requests and applications as long as needed to follow up and for reasonable business records. We keep Portal and order records for as long as the dealer relationship continues and afterward as required for legal, tax, and warranty purposes.
8. Security
We use encrypted connections, hash passwords, limit repeated sign-in attempts, and restrict Portal data so each dealership sees only its own records. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your Portal password private and tell us right away if you think your account has been misused.
9. Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to stop emailing you about a request, by contacting info@sawyertrailers.com or (480) 815-8764. Portal users can update their own password at any time. Some records, like completed orders, may need to be kept for legal or warranty reasons. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state law, and we’ll honor requests as the law requires.
10. Children
The Website and Portal are meant for adults and businesses. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
11. Links to other sites
The Website may link to other sites, such as dealer websites or maps. Their privacy practices are their own.
12. Changes to this policy
We’ll post any changes here and update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we’ll make it clear on the Website or in the Portal.
